9 Day wild safari in Uganda takes you to Uganda’s national parks that protects the wildlife and enjoy the wildlife safaris in Uganda and the white water rafting adventure!

Day1: Entebbe – Murchison Falls National Park

Breakfast and after embark the safari vehicle and transfer to Murchison Falls National Park with the en-route visit to the Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for foot Rhino tracking and the lunch. After continue to the park with visit to the top of the falls enjoy how the River follows through the rock gorge towards the delta. Dinner and overnight stay at Fort Murchison Camp, Meal plan: F/B

Day2: Game Drive & Boat Ride

Have breakfast and after go morning game drive looking for wildlife species like lions, elephants, buffaloes, giraffes, water and bush buck, and warthogs among others. This experience takes 3 – 4 hours and has lunch, after take the afternoon boat cruise along the shores of the River Nile and at the same time spotting more wildlife species like elephants, crocodiles and hippos. Day3: Murchison Falls – Kidepo Valley National Park

Breakfast and after embark the safari vehicle and transfer to Kidepo Valley National Park with en-route lunch. Continue to the park with overnight stay at Kidepo Savannah Lodge, Meal plan: F/B

Day4: Game Drive & Culture Visit

Dawn game drive looking for the wildlife species like lions, leopards, elephants, buffaloes, zebras among others. Lunch, evening visit to the nearby local communities for the Karamoja cultural performances. Dinner and overnight stay as above, Meal plan: F/B

Day5: Kidepo Valley – Pian Upe Game Reserve

Have breakfast and after take en-route game drive looking for more wildlife and from this park enjoy the undulating scenic view of landscapes and much more sightseeing. After transfer to the Pian Upe reserve and take evening game drive for wildlife viewing like the elephants, black rhinos, giraffes, lions, leopards, buffaloes, zebras among others. Overnight stay at Uganda Wildlife Banda’s, Meal plan: F/B

Day6: Pian Upe – Mbale – Mount Elgon National Park

Breakfast and take another morning game drive looking for more wildlife that were missed on the previous game drive and after transfer Mount Elgon National Park for dinner and overnight stay at Sipi River Lodge. Meal plan: F/B

Day7: Visit Sipi Falls – Jinja Holiday

Breakfast and after visit the undulating Sipi falls and relax at the bottom of the falls. Lunch, after embark the vehicle and transfer to Jinja with overnight stay at 2 Friends Hotel/Source of the Smile Hotel. Meal plan: H/B

Day8: White Water Rafting & Bungee Jumping Adventures

Breakfast and after transfer to the starting point of the white water rafting enjoyed along the rapid grades of River Nile. Lunch, visit source of the Nile and after in the evening enjoy the Bungee Jumping experience. Dinner and overnight stay as above, Meal plan: F/B

Day9: Jinja – Entebbe

Have breakfast after transfer to the historical Mabira forest and enjoy the Zip lining adventure in the forest. Lunch, after transfer back to Entebbe for your return flight back home. End of services

The expenses of personal nature like: Air fares, Visa, Luxury drinks, laundry, tips to local guides, telephone, and porter fee while trekking, personal insurance, personal shopping bills.

What to wear/bring

Dress codes are informal. Daytime temperatures are generally warm, so bring lots of light clothing, supplemented by light sweaters for the cool evenings and heavier clothing for the higher altitudes especially Virunga and Nyiragongo. When tracking gorillas layering your clothing is the best idea and we suggest: long sleeved shirts, cotton or gore tex trousers, strong walking shoes with ankle support, socks that you can tuck your trousers into, light gloves to protect your hands from thorns and nettles, a hat and sunglasses to provide protection against the sun and a waterproof jacket in neutral colors may come in handy in the moist mountains. Travel light and remember that soft-sided luggage is required. One medium sized duffel bag and one small day pack (carry-on) per person should be adequate. Laundry services are available at most accommodations. You should also pack some zip lock bags for spare clothing, cameras, binoculars and film. Please note that you are not allowed to use a flash when photographing Gorillas. It is a good idea to take along several different speeds of film (64 to 1000) as gorillas can be found in open sun or in the dark underbrush of the forest.
